Qualifications:

1. HVAC Knowledge: Solid understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, components, and installation practices.

2. Sales Experience: Proven track record in HVAC sales or related field, with excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

3. Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport, actively listen to customers' needs, and provide personalized solutions.

4. Technical Aptitude: Ability to interpret technical specifications, perform basic load calculations, and explain complex HVAC concepts in simple terms to customers.

5. Certifications: HVAC certifications or licenses may be required depending on local regulations and employer preferences.

6. Computer Skills: Proficiency in using sales software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications for generating quotes, managing customer information, and tracking sales activities.

7. Driving License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to conduct on-site consultations and visit customer locations as needed.

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required)

- HVAC certification or relevant technical training (preferred)

Job Summary:

As an HVAC Comfort Advisor, you will be responsible for assessing customers' heating and cooling needs, providing expert advice, and recommending appropriate HVAC systems and services. You will work closely with customers to understand their comfort requirements and budget constraints, presenting them with tailored solutions to optimize their indoor comfort and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with customers to understand their heating and cooling needs, preferences, and budgetary considerations.

2. System Assessment: Evaluate customers' existing HVAC systems, ductwork, insulation, and other relevant factors to identify areas for improvement or replacement.

3. Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, products, and services offered by the company, and effectively communicate their features, benefits, and differences to customers.

4. Solution Proposal: Recommend appropriate HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, thermostats, and indoor air quality products, based on customers' requirements and budgets.

5. Energy Efficiency: Educate customers on energy-efficient HVAC options, such as ENERGY STAR-rated equipment, smart thermostats, zoning systems, and maintenance plans, to help them reduce utility costs and environmental impact.

6. Sales Process: Guide customers through the sales process, from initial consultation and product selection to financing options and contract signing, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.

7. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their concerns, providing ongoing support, and following up to ensure satisfaction with the installed HVAC systems.

8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with installation teams, technicians, and other departments to coordinate the seamless delivery and installation of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
